About
Pablo Francis (aka SecureCrayon) is an Australian artist and commercial designer who has worked with coffee, acrylic, and ink on canvas for more than 20 years. He likes the flow, immediacy and unpredictability of these mediums.
The Artist lives and paints in St Kilda East, Melbourne. He takes inspiration from the grand old Victorian architecture, iconic seaside neighbourhoods and urban tagging, as well as the glossy elegance of luxury goods.
Commercial success with his coffee and ink streetscapes is ongoing, particularly when the subject is Rome, Paris or Melbourne—all famous for their love of coffee, and their iconic architecture. These renderings have both loose and tight elements, blended with coffee for an earthy, tonal feel. The Artist also paints large-scale murals in private homes and businesses, with a keen eye for the humorous in our challenging times.
His work has been shown at a number of commercial spaces including galleries, restaurants and boutiques, and is also held in many private collections throughout the world.
He is available for private commissions, including murals.
